What is Asthma?

Asthma is a condition that can happen at any age group, during an asthma attack the tubes that carry the air become swollen, and then squeezed to make extra mucus that makes it harder to breathe for children.

Common Symptoms :
    - Coughing, especially at night
    - a wheezing or whistling sound, especially when breathing out
    - trouble breathingor fast breathing that causes the skin around the neck to pull in tightly
    -a tight chest
-Frequent colds that settle in the chest

Treatment can be of the following types:

    1. Quick Relief ( Relievers)- All children with Asthma need the quick relief medicines to treat coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath which leads to an asthma attack. The child should have this medicine with them ( typically an inhaler) at all times and use it at the first sign of symptom.
